Huntington Rovers Football Club was founded in 1948 and is an FA Chartered Standard football club based in York affiliated to the North Riding County FA. We have junior teams, both female and mixed ranging from Under 7s through to Under 16s, Men's and ladies teams.

All of our coaches are FA level 1 (or working towards) or 2 trained which ensures a good standard of coaching is available to all. Coaching is undertaken within a fun and safe environment (all our coaches and those parents who help regularly are Disclosure & Barring Service cleared) and in accordance with the FA’s RESPECT campaign.  In addition we have in place a Child Protection officer and other policies to create a safe enjoyable environment for the kids.

 

We welcome children of all abilities to train and play for Huntington Rovers FC.  FA arranged matches are provided for the Under 7s – Under 16s Mixed and Girls teams in the York League.  Our Men's teams play in the 1st Division and Reserve A leagues in the York League.  Finally our ladies team play in the North Riding Women's Football League.

 

We are always on the lookout for parents to help with coaching, organising, spectating and generally supporting the children and the club.

 

Huntington Rovers Football Club is a great club to be a member of with everyone working together to make it even better and stronger for the players and their families.

 

The Club is run openly by a volunteer committee with elected officers who welcome positive involvement from all interested parties.

 

We are always looking for new players, coaches, officials or volunteers to help in any capacity.
